The Gulf Restoration Network has launched a rapid responder campaign to help save the remaining endangered cypress groves along the Gulf Coast. Mega lumber retailers like Lowes, Wal-Mart and Home Depot are apparently selling mulch that is coming directly from cypress groves that are holding together the eroding coastlines.
