They left many of the 917 unlined oil pits completely unremediated and the ones they "cleaned up" was little more than sprinkling dirt on open pits. People live near, and sometimes on, these dirty pits. Their water and land are poisoned. It is an insult to the suffering of these families that you perpetuate Chevron's lies. Texaco’s “clean up” of Ecuador was a complete and utter fraud.
