After 39 homes were destroyed, we received a report that a Malaysian court has ordered a temporary halt to further demolition until the case can be heard in court (scheduled for February 9). Representatives of the local communities reacted with relief and announced that they would be continuing their struggle against the theft of their lands for plantation development.
