You know, I have to tell you, I really enjoy this blog and the insight from everyone who participates. I find it to be refreshing and very informative. I wish there were more blogs like it. Anyway, I felt it was about time I posted, I?ve spent most of my time here just lurking and reading, but today for some reason I just felt compelled to say this.

You make an excellent point about Chevron's "Human Energy" ad campaign. And for a company that made $24 BILLON in profits, it is stunning that they feel no obligation--moral or otherwise--to help out those who are less fortunate. I understand that Chevron feels they have no legal responsibilities here but they should lend a hand not because they HAVE to but because it is the simply the RIGHT thing to do. They got rich off of that land...so to whom much is given, much is expected.
