I urge you to end mountaintop removal. I feel that coal will soon be a thing of the past for fuel usage since it creates a unhealthy environment. We all need to work together to preserve our environment.

It’s long past time to stop mountian top removal for any reason, especially for coal. Coal is one of the dirtiest fuels that we burn. it poisons the air, the water, and the soil. Investment in alternative fuels could cost much less and leave mountain tops for future generations.

Do the mountain top ‘removers’ plan anything for the ‘baldies’ once they’re finished? How about a nice parking lot? Just think how many more cars we could build, to screw up the atmosphere and hasten our warming trend! Then removers offspring will be totally pleased their folks left them this truncated wonder.
