		<description>Yes to John Gibson. Democracy at this moment doesn&#039;t seem Democratic. It feels as if the dangers we face on environmental issues are coming directly from militant anti environmentalists right here in this country. Anti ecological fundamentalists. I fear the extremism is fueled by the big corporations; who do seem to determine much of what passes for policy; playing on the fears (for profit) of those who reject science &amp; Darwin. I maintain hope through continual grass roots activism.</description>

		<description>I do not support violence, but I suspect we will see it from frustrated people unless environmental issues are taken more seriously by government. The impression of many (myself included) is that we do not live in a real democracy, and that government is led by big corporations. Unless we have more democracy in environmental decisions I expect we will see violence on a larger scale.</description>
