I don't understand. My husband has made fuel for his Mercedes diesel engine for 3 years now using recycled, waste vegetable oil he gets from a local fish stand, who would be paying a rendering works company to take it away. The vegetable oil has been used for cooking and is virtually trash. My husband gets free waste vegetable oil for his fuel and the fish stand saves by not having to pay the rendering works company.
I also don't understand the concept of using food for fuel. Is it not true that ethanol only needs biotic waste from plants to achieve fuel usability? Look at Brazil! Are they sacrificing their sugar crops so they can drive around on ethanol?
