I want to avoide the use of all fossil fuels like coal and petrochemicals. As coal is currently being mined and used as fuel, it is devastating our ecosystems, I also believe that more environmental sound technology to mine it SAFELY, and protecting mineworkers exists. If it is true that this technology is being used in Europe, I think we should put pressure on government as well as electricity providers and coal companies to make these technologies available for all homeowners with incentives to use it. Everyone benefits, especially in times Hurricane Ike when so many Houstonians were out of power. Hade they been availed of these technologies, none of them would have needed a power generator.
