Please, I hope you don't mind me asking questions, some may be stupid. 1)Who authorized people with bad credit to qualify for housing? I ask because I have heard Pres. Clinton signed some document into law so that everyone can achieve the American dream. Everyone refers to those who could not afford a house. 2a)Why give someone who does not qualify for a house an ARM? 2b)Why not give them a fixed rate? I don't mean to sound ignorant, but I would think that a lender would give someone who is a risk a fix rate morgage only because they are a risk and their budget is based on a set house note.
