My friend Dune is absolutely correct:

The courts have become politicized to a degree unimaginable when the U.S. Constitution was crafted as three distinct branches of government, independent overseeing each other.

Unfortunately, the money that rules our politics through campaign finance and the permanent race for money to amass political power, also funds teams of lawyers, forensic experts, doctors, engineers and others too ably litigiously glib for greed once the commercial downside of ethical behaviors becomes too threatening to quarterly profit targets.

Politicized courts exist throughout local, state and federal judiciaries. No judge is immune from the politics that enrobed him or her to administer justice in the name of the People of America. No judge is immune from the specialized bar associations that represent narrow political, gender and corporate interests.

Politics destroys the impartiality and credibility of the law.

We need advanced statistical analytics to expose the patterns of bias easily connecting a corrupt judge's opinions. In specialized courts like the matrimonial courts, we need to pull off the veil of deceit and feminism that hide judging behind the best interests of children.

Environmental cases are intergenerational. EXXON's profit through the courts is an obscenity, something that the shareholders should voluntarily shed and give back to the Alaskan people who suffered in this and future generations for those profits, the profits of avoiding legal culpability, the profits of oil spills.

I applaud Dune Lankard, and his people's grace, tenacity and eminent social values.

Do the right thing EXXON - Give the money back.
