Hi everyone.

I'm sorry, the David Suzuki interview was on the weather network not CTV. The interviewer was Chris St.Clair.

I don't know, sometimes it's hard to know when praise is appropriate. BP does make solar panels, it's just that they're also wiping out that benefit many times over by developing the tar sands. If you accept the idea that oil companies will never stop destroying the planet (and that we can't stop them), then it makes sense to praise them for putting in a relatively small investment in renewables. It's about where you think the baseline is. Here at RAN we tend to expect more.

April 26, 2008
Dr.David Suzuki was interviewed on CTV television this morning and completely reversed the BP tale. Dr.Suzuki made no mention of BP tearing up the Tar Sands of Alberta but clearly referred to them as an energy company that had switched gears and was now "green". Dr. Suzuki also warned of Scientists that have been paid off by big oil to deny global warming. Dr.Suzuki clearly promoted BP. So what the hell is going on with him?
