		<description>Actually, Friedman (perhaps it was in a live forum I was lucky enough to catch him in, but I think it was in print), pretty much admitted this.  He said (paraphrasing, as I don&#039;t have an exact quote) that while anything you can do personally (recycling, using less energy) is a good thing, without national political action it&#039;s in vain.</description>
