As I am learning of the many atrocities committed by the many debtors I owe, I am wondering, is it possible to have your loan purchased by a more socially responsible lender? Are there any socially responsible lenders that I may ask for future student loans, car purchases, etc.? And if you happen to have a socially responsible lender, what is to stop them from selling your loan as some of mine have been bought by other companies--not in a good way.
