Bank of America’s Coal Investments are ballooning!
Last week, Bank of America’s San Francisco offices got a present courtesy of Rainforest Action Network. A banner saying “Bank of America: Funding Coal, Killing Communities” was tied to a bouquet of helium balloons, and set sail in their lobby. Finally coming to rest on the ceiling of their lobby, the banner spent the rest of the day informing thousands of people in the building the dirty secret behind Bank of America and their investments that are killing our climate.
Check out the video of the action - it’s easy to do in your town! On November 16th and 17th we’ll be having a National Day of Action Against Coal - targetting the two banks that are leading the US coal rush: Bank of America and Citi. With your help - we’ll have over 100 actions across the country, from leafletting and flyering to street theater or non-violent direct action. But no need to wait until then - get involved today and help build a clean energy future!
