After news yesterday that rescuers were close to reaching the six miners trapped, and possibly dead, in a Utah mine, reports reveal today that the effort to drill an air hole may have missed the miners altogether. The six have been trapped since Monday, with no indication that they survived the mine collapse.

What’s more, three miners were killed yesterday in Indiana as they attempted to repair a mine.

Are these prices worth paying for the dirtiest form of energy there is?

  1. April Yahne says:

It’s an absolute atrocity that these big fat banks cannot fund renewable energy and instead want to breathe in cancer causing air that we do not think is fit to breathe. It is going to stop all efforts to curb global warming and the greenhouse effect and make a catasterphe occur. Building more coal power plants must be haulted.

Isn’t it time we all face the truth about global warming? We all need to act NOW! Coal is deadly and we have known that for a very long time.
Get real please. Think about the children! We need to be working on and utilizing renewable energy sources.

It’s for the health of all of us,

    Stacie Moniz
