Citi: Quit Clowning Around with Our Future
Today, a number of high school students from around the country paraded with Rainforest Action Network to numerous Citi (formerlly Citibank) branch locations in downtown San Francisco for the Clean Up Citi Carnival.

Dressed as clowns turning 4 Citi locations into a 3 ring circus, the Clean Up Citi Carnival put on skits, had passer-byers sign a petition banner and sending a strong message to Citi to stop clowning around with the climate and the future.

Citi is the largest funder of coal from the cradle to the grave. Coal extraction methods, like mountaintop removal, destroy communities and eco-systems through Appalachia and other parts of the world. Coal-fired utilities contribute over 40% of greenhouse gas emissions causing catastrophic climate chaos. Despite past environmental commitments, Citi is heavily involved in some of the worst coal and gas burning projects. Contact Citi and tell them to quit clowning around with our future
