Even after nearly a dozen speaking engagements with Maria, Gloria, and Warren from Grassy Narrows, I still enjoy hearing what they have to say.
They never use prepared statements or even notes, they speak from the heart and every time they say something new and meaningful. After the meeting, Gloria wrote down some of what she had said earlier to share with people who were unable to be in the closed meeting.
She wrote:
This is not a consultation, it is not consent, it is not a protest. It is an exercise of our First Rights from the Natural Laws of Life.
Stop the destruction of the natural cycle of life. Stop interrupting the natural laws of life. Stop clearcutting. The destruction not only affect Grassy Narrows. It affects the air, earth, soil, plant life, and wildlife.
The destruction and interruption of the natural laws of life calls for all nations to stand together nation to nation.When money becomes G-d it only serves to destroy life and breaks its natural cycles causing destruction driven by greed for money, destroying life in its path and affecting all nations, all life: plant life, wildlife, and air.
I think it is fair to say that this was not a typical meeting for Weyerhaeuser’s senior executives.

Ms.maria is right because some poeple don’t care about the erath.They thow things all over the world and they just don’t care what happends next.Those poeple think that the world will always be here.But that is not true not if we don’t care for it.Smoking is one thing that does not help us or the erath.We need to take better care of our earth so we can be here a little longer and our chliden also can help them to help you
