You can run, but you can't hide governor Manchin. May God help you if that impoundment should fail. About 400 children will die if that happens. And, it's happened before See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buffalo_Creek_Flood

Sleep well, if you can.

You might try and bang down Sen. Byrde's door as well. Much of his extended family has greatly benefited from his politcal influence by growing their coal mining plants.

Go Rainforest Action Network! Go Kids!
The use of creative tools for getting the message out is so needed. Perhaps, other anti-coal mining efforts might also look to using art, culture and the voices of our young people to capture the attention, and warm the hearts of greedy polluters and politians. Perhaps, creative action will also help us cool the world, while there is still time.

Manchin OWES the community of Marsh Fork Elementary this. In the past election cycle, the WV Democrats campaigned on this issue and now, in a seemingly cynical move, they ignore and evade it. If Manchin and his cronies want the next generation of Coal River Valley residents to be empowered citizens that support his parties' agenda and not angry radicals or cynical disconnected couch surfers and drug users he'll move the school. He won re-election on this issue, he owes it to the kids.
