Since oil is becoming harder and more expensive to extract, since burning fossil fuels causes global warming, it is time to get gas-guzzlers off the road and replace them with the most fuel-efficient vehicles possible. Consumers are flocking to Honda and Toyota because their vehicles are much more fuel efficient and work to improve our air quality, reverse climate change and stop over-reliance on oil. We are calling on all automakers to manufacture plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and make them available to American customers. The only way Ford will regain its market share and ensure its competitive future is for it to lead the industry in fuel economy standards. Don’t pay for Detroit’s short-sightedness in the near past; urge them in any way you can to correct its mistakes now and make these PHEVs available for sale at all Ford dealers. Thank you.

My husband and I purchased a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid and we
absolutely love it. Another gentleman that I called prior to our purchase said that he absolutely would NOT sell us
his 2004 model which he swears he has only filled up twice
in the two years he has owned it. Now may I ask a question?
What did happen to the GM EV1? Why did they decide to crush
all 800 prototypes even when people were begging for them?
