I have some mixed feeling about the propostion of us coming home right now. I am a combat medic in the army currently serving in Iraq. Many of us here are working to make a positive difference in Iraq from helping their police and army forces to giving aid to the civilians. While it would be nice to come home and stay home I still feel a sense of obligation to help those here that cannot help themselves and to stop any person who would kill someone else because they worship differently. Thank you for your time and please do not take this message any further than this site.

I am really pleasantly surprised and pleased to see this on the front page of the website. I think RAN deserves some tremendous credit for taking this stance on the war. Most environmental organizations are terrified of having a position on this theme. RAN shows true Vision and Courage, and I am very appreciative of this!

Good for you Mike and RAN! I'm proud that RAN people take a stand on the war, I wish more environmentalists would do the same.
