Reports from inside JP Morgan say things were anything but cool and collected while the flagship demonstrations were going on in New York and Chicago. We’ll keep you posted on the happenings. Something not mentioned was that two activists from the protest went into to Bank One and closed their personal accounts while letting Bank One knows their reasons were related to Bank One’s refusal to take on the environmental standards of other large banks like Bank of America.
“Also, through the leafletting – one woman walked up and learned about Bank One’s investments destroying the environment and she entered the bank in order to close her bank account as well.”
