The good news is that through Google’s mapping software anyone can actually view satellite images of their neighborhood. The bad news is that after checking out parts of British Columbia and Vancouver, Dave Shea of Mezzoblue found that the clearcutting is more egregious than we initially thought. Check it out for yourself and see firsthand how Weyerhauser and other logging companies are carving up Western Canada into a patchwork quilt of clearcuts and forest plots yet-to-be harvested.
