April 1st and more Fossil Foolery
RAN, along with 15 coalition partners, is celebrating our 2nd Annual “Fossil Fools Day” this April 1st (Friday). With hundreds of direct actions and demonstrations planned at Ford dealerships around the country our goal will be to send a message to Detroit: there is a demand for fuel-efficient and zero-emission vehicles.
Ford has one of the worst records when it comes to fuel efficiency. Even worse, they’ve failed to acknowledge this and refuse to commit to a sufficient plan of action that maps out how they will begin to manufacture zero-emission vehicles. What’s keeping Ford from doing this? Its your blog…

I participated in the April 1st day of action against Ford. I am glad to have done it. This seems like a very challenging goal. Even more challenging than a lot of others like Boise Cascade which I also participated in. Thanks for being such a great organization RAN. You are one of the few that really know what they’re doing and do it well.
